About Us
Our Story
At Wagging Tails, we believe every animal deserves to live whole — with their tails, ears, claws, and dignity intact. Founded with a deep love for dogs and a mission to stop unnecessary suffering, our nonprofit is dedicated to ending tail docking and other harmful pet mutilation practices through education, awareness, and advocacy.
Tail docking is our primary focus, but we also shine a light on related procedures like ear cropping, dewclaw removal, and declawing cats. These practices are often rooted in outdated traditions or cosmetic preferences — not medical necessity.
We are here to change the conversation. Through fact-based content, community outreach, and real-world action, we’re building a future where animals are respected in both form and function. Because nature gave them tails for a reason — and we’re here to protect that reason.
🐶 Our Mission
Ending Pet Mutilation Through Awareness and Action
We aim to eliminate tail docking and related practices by informing the public, supporting compassionate pet care, and advocating for change through community and policy efforts.
🐾 What We Stand For
Compassion Over Tradition
We reject the idea that animals must be altered to fit outdated standards. Our values are rooted in empathy, truth, and the belief that natural is not just beautiful — it’s essential.
🧠 Our Approach
Educate. Empower. End Harm.
We combine science, storytelling, and community action to dismantle myths and promote humane practices. Every article, post, and campaign we create is designed to spark change.
🤝 Our Community
A Voice for the Voiceless
